It’s Time to ReadySetSweat – Swimming, Triathlon, Coaching, and Even a Book?!

I interviewed local triathlon coach and all around queen of fun Ali Meeks! Check out the video and learn how she went from division 1 swimmer to career in fisheries science to triathlon coach and owner/entrepreneur at Ready Set Sweat! She talks about her experiences coaching with Olympic gold medalist Sheila Taormina as well as her upcoming book! I have worked with a number of clients of hers – some looking to improve performance and others looking to get over an injury efficiently and reduce the risk of it returning. She is an incredible person and an incredible coach so I would encourage you to check out the video below and her site!

After limping my way through a 100km trail race and finally giving in to my bilateral Achilles tendinopathy, I went to Andrew for help. His well researched approach to therapy helped me progress from barely walking to increasing my running mileage so that I could make it to the start line of my goal 100mi race a little over 3 months later. Andrew's passion for sports therapy is obvious. His methods are based on the latest research in Orthopedics. You won't find a better PT in the area.

Andrew is on top of the latest research and therapy practices! As a fitness instructor, being in good physical health is a job requirement. After an injury, Andrew worked to get me back up to speed quick! He takes time to address the physical as well as the mental aspects of recovery. Instead of needing to go for visits 3x per week, I saw him 3x over the course of a couple months and actually saved money. I appreciate the athlete log-in for videos so you can do them at home. Lastly, Andrew is an honest and dedicated professional. Would... read more

Andrew is an extremely valuable asset to our community thanks to his passion for not only his patients, but for staying on top of current research and techniques. I have seen him numerous times and the care I have received is second to none. Andrew is also actively involved in our local athletic community offering injury prevention advice and training tips, and you can often see him volunteering his time at athletic events. Highly recommend.
